Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our Finance & Accounting team.
Responsibilities:
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of financial data, including figures, postings, and documents.
- Organize, maintain, and secure all financial records, files, and cash equivalents in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Record, store, access, and analyze computerized financial information to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Maintain electronic spreadsheets for financial and accounting data, classifying, coding, and summarizing numerical and financial data as needed.
- Compile and keep financial records using journals, ledgers, and/or computers.
- Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements according to company procedures.
- Complete period-end closing procedures and reports as specified by management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with financial software and systems.
- A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
