Job Description:

The Water Market Water Treatment Engineer plays a pivotal role in supporting the design and development of water and wastewater treatment facility projects. This position provides exposure to a variety of projects including treatment facilities, pumping stations, linear infrastructure, condition assessments, and field inspections.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide project design assistance for WWTP upgrades, sewer system extensions, and waterline extensions.
  • Prepare comprehensive plans, design calculations, technical reports, and construction documents.
  • Assist with permitting, construction management, and coordination with regulatory agencies.
  • Conduct field inspections, condition assessments, and site visits as required.
  • Collaborate with project managers and senior staff across multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies and best practices to improve project efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of related experience in water/wastewater engineering.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred, with the goal of obtaining a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D required.
  • Strong command of design principles with ability to develop neat and accurate design calculations.
  • Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
