Job Title: Senior Water Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team in the water treatment sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial wastewater management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with others.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist in identifying and evaluating potential improvements in treatment processes and equipment to enhance performance and efficiency.
  • Conduct wastewater treatment process calculations and assist in process modeling to properly size and configure treatment processes.
  • Design layouts and specifications for treatment system improvements, including equipment, pumps, piping, tanks, chemical feed systems, and process monitoring and control systems in collaboration with technical experts and other design disciplines.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements; prepare and submit permit applications as needed.
  • Participate in construction-related activities including reviewing shop drawings and submittals, responding to RFIs, preparing project plans, tracking progress, reviewing contractor pay applications, and advising on discrepancies and changes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License required.
  • 5+ years of experience in water and/or wastewater engineering.
  • Knowledge of local, state, regional, and federal regulatory requirements related to water and wastewater.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong problem-solving and operational skills.
