About This Role

This role leads the development and implementation of business strategies across North America in coordination with leadership and other technical directors.

  • Participate in strategic and tactical planning activities, and assist in developing positioning with areas in the regions.
  • Conduct an assessment of opportunities, gauge HDR prospects, and develop prioritized targets.
  • Leverage industry contacts to expand relationships with staff and clients in key locations aligned with biosolids development plans.

The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience with all aspects of wastewater biosolids processing including thickening/dewatering, digestion, stabilization, thermal hydrolysis, heat drying, beneficial use including land application, resource recovery and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the organization and preparation of a business plan for solids processing and management.
  • Develop discreet business plans for offices.
  • Lead direct project pursuits including client relationship development and premarketing, qualifications, proposals, interview content, scopes of work, project budgets, and contract negotiations.
  • Disseminate information on marketplace developments, regulatory updates, policy changes, and emerging technologies related to solids management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 15+ years of experience with all aspects of wastewater biosolids processing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related sciences.
  • Registered Professional Engineer.
