Conference Coordinator Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Conference Coordinator to support the organization of a conference on home visiting and family support. This event aims to bring together stakeholders in the Early Childhood Development (ECD) field to share knowledge, best practices, and collaborate towards improving outcomes for children.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and organized professional to join our team and contribute to the success of this critical event. As a Conference Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing technical and logistical support for the conference preparation, implementation, and follow-up under the supervision of the UNICEF ECD Officer.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conference Preparation: Provide technical and logistical support for the conference preparation, including drafting and finalizing technical and administrative materials, coordinating with relevant staff, and ensuring venue readiness.
  • Logistical Support: Manage speakers' travel and participation logistics, provide translations/interpreters with necessary materials, and ensure that all logistical requirements are met.
  • Communication Materials: Draft communication materials, such as speeches, talking points, social media posts, media advisories, press releases, and website articles, in coordination with the UNICEF Communications team.
  • Event Coordination: Coordinate meetings related to conference preparation and implementation, manage reception/registration, produce written, audiovisual, and image documentation, and ensure that all event-related tasks are completed.

The consultancy will deliver invitations dissemination, participant list, conference materials, communications materials, and conference report by 30 November 2025.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's university degree in Social Sciences, Communications, or a similar technical field.
  • At least five years of experience organizing national technical consultations/workshops/conferences with at least 100 participants.
  • Proven experience working with government directorates/departments/ministries, NGOs, and CSOs.
  • Fluency in Montenegrin and English is required.
