Job Description:

UNICEF seeks the services of a consultant to support the organization of a conference on home visiting and family support. The consultant will provide technical and logistical support for the preparation, implementation, and follow-up of the conference.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide technical and logistical support for the preparation, implementation, and follow-up of the conference.
  2. Draft technical and administrative materials related to the conference in consultation with UNICEF staff.
  3. Finalize the preliminary list of invitees and disseminate invitations; set up the registration link and prepare final participants lists.
  4. Coordinate with UNICEF staff to define and support logistical and technical requirements.
  5. Prepare conference materials (agenda, presentations, participants list, and other relevant material).
  6. Draft and support preparation of communication materials (speeches, talking points, social media posts, media advisories, press releases, and a website article) in coordination with the UNICEF Communications team.
  7. Prepare participants' kits and manage speakers' travel and participation logistics, including providing translations/interpreters with necessary materials.
  8. Ensure venue readiness: technical equipment, seating, banners, information signs, and visibility materials; arrange display area for publications and partner materials; organize conference secretariat room.
  9. Manage reception/registration and produce written, audiovisual and image documentation, including an event report and photographs.
  10. Participate in meetings related to conference preparation and implementation.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Good understanding of Early Childhood Development (ECD) technical field and UNICEF programs is an advantage.
  • At least five years of experience organizing national technical consultations/workshops/conferences with at least 100 participants.
  • Experience organizing panel discussions and workshops with LED screens, audio and lighting setup.
  • Proven experience working with governmentDirectorates/Departments/Ministries, NGOs, and CSOs.
  • Previous work experience with UNICEF or other UN agencies (preferably in event management) is an added advantage.
Benefits:

Deliverables and tentative timelines include invitations dissemination, participant list, conference materials, communications materials, and conference report. Final consultancy report due by 30 November 2025.

Language:
  • Fluency in Montenegrin and English is required.
