This is a challenging role that requires ownership of routing policy within IP and MPLS backbones, as well as providing high-level support for fault management issues.
">- Train operational teams on expertise from vendors and engineering.
- Provide expert support for complex IP customer and backbone provisioning.
- Study operational impact of new technologies.
- Responsible for Postmortem Analysis and undertaking rerouting and unroll rescue plans for complex cases and major outages management.
- Participate in the definition of Routing rules & Network Topology.
- Responsible for Network Optimization and assist with the implementation of peering policies and rules within Open Transit. Traffic Analysis.
- Originate and maintain accurate troubleshooting guidelines for day-to-day network management and supervision.
- Collaborate with internal teams using the DevOps model to develop automation tools to support global business needs.
Telecommunications or Computer Science or Electronics experience with vast knowledge on Networking is mandatory.
- Experience in software development with Python preferred.
- Other programming languages such as Ansible or Perl would be beneficial.
- Major telecommunication related projects and IP network analysis experience.
- Strong customer orientation and communication skills are required.
- Expertise on IP and Network troubleshooting skills on complex routing issues, and risk management.
