About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Specialist to join our team in Rio de Janeiro. As a key member of our Intercity Vertical, you will play a pivotal role in managing and expanding our Intercity business line in Brazil.

Key Responsibilities
  • Grow our Intercity vertical in Brazil: Initiate activities and projects to reach our main business KPIs, including acquiring and retaining passengers and drivers.
  • Monitor and improve business metrics: Launch and execute initiatives to improve our product and services.
  • Participate in strategy development: Analyze market and competitors to inform business decisions.
  • Generate and validate product hypotheses: Conduct A/B testing to improve our product.
  • Manage cross-functional projects: Collaborate with teams such as Product, Analytics, Marketing, and Customer Support.
  • Conduct quantitative analysis: Identify inefficiencies and growth opportunities through data analysis.
  • Launch surveys and conduct interviews: Gather feedback from passengers and drivers.
Requirements
  • Location: Based in Rio de Janeiro or ready to move within the first 3 months.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree and/or Master's Degree in Economics, Econometrics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or Management.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a data-heavy role, ideally with B2C products.
  • Skills: Practical work experience with analytical tools such as SQL and Excel, and experience with hypotheses generation and testing.
  • Language: Fluent English speaker and native Portuguese speaker.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Expertise in Brazilian intercity transportation market.
  • Experience in strategy and project management.
  • Practical analytical experience with Python.
  • Fluent Spanish.
