Fleet Maintenance Assistant

Our fleet maintenance team plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our trucking ecosystem. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fleet Maintenance Assistant to join our crew.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and organized individual who is passionate about maintaining a high level of efficiency in fleet operations. As a Fleet Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for managing pre-trip inspections and post-trip inspections, guiding drivers to solve reported problems and directing them to support resources when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Manage post-trip inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Report key performance indicators (KPIs) on coverage and response for drivers and assets, providing valuable insights for continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements, driving business outcomes through data-driven decision making
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to driver inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner

Requirements:

  • Fluent English and Portuguese language skills; Spanish an advantage
  • Studying technician or degree in mechanical, production, automotive engineering, or similar field
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance and trucks; ability to learn and adapt quickly
  • Highly organized and focused individual with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
