Job Description

The Supervisor Packaging Engineering role is a leadership position that oversees packaging development and implementation for new products, ensuring qualification and performance on production packaging lines. This includes managing a team of packaging engineering specialists to design, develop, test, and implement tertiary packaging components and systems.

Responsibilities include providing technical expertise in design, development, testing, and implementation of new packaging components and systems, designing, developing, and overseeing validation of package components and packaging processes. Additionally, this role involves analyzing and validating technical drawings, creating packaging component specifications, managing Master Data Management flow, and developing Technical Document guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Packaging, Engineering or related Science field
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Cosmetic, Personal Care, OTC, Food or related industry
  • Experience in packaging line trials and testing with exposure to rigid, flexible, paper packaging technologies and processes
  • Solid experience with filling/packaging processes, artwork, and printing (offset, flexo, roto, digital)
  • Experience with GMP, Hygiene Practice, and Quality System requirements
  • Strong project management skills with ability to prioritize and drive projects to completion
