Job SummaryThe Clinical & Sales Support Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing the Clinical & Sales Support Representatives, fostering strong customer relationships, and driving sales revenue growth through training and knowledge transmission.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Performance Management: Oversee the Clinical & Sales Support team's performance, providing guidance and support to ensure team members meet their goals and objectives.
- Clinical Advice and Expertise: Offer clinical advice and expertise to customers to improve Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) processes, ensuring the safe and effective use of Steris products.
- Continuous Education: Provide ongoing education to users regarding CSSD/OR equipment and consumables, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge to optimize their processes.
- Training and Support: Develop and deliver training programs to customers, identifying training needs and providing support to ensure proper budget management.
- Customer Needs Assessment: Identify customer needs that can be satisfied with Steris products and services, providing solutions to improve their processes and outcomes.
- Product Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations to showcase how Steris products meet customer needs, address process improvement, and reduce costs.
- Clinical and Technical Knowledge: Provide clinical and technical knowledge regarding international norms and standards, ensuring customers have the necessary expertise to make informed decisions.
- Process Diagnostics: Conduct process diagnoses to identify areas of opportunity for training, consumables, and equipment sales, driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
- Activity Reporting: Maintain accurate activity reports of education sessions, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
- Revenue and Customer Satisfaction: Achieve established revenue, customer satisfaction, and focus product objectives, ensuring the business unit meets its goals.
- Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers in healthcare facilities, promoting Steris products and services.
- After-Sale Support: Manage the after-sale process, including installation and in-servicing, ensuring customers have thorough knowledge of the safe use of equipment.
- Work Plan Development: Develop a work plan to support product launches, ensuring proper prioritization among customers and effective technical support.
- Quarterly Business Reviews: Participate in quarterly business reviews with key customers to understand Steris' strengths and areas for improvement.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Experience: At least 5 to 8 years of clinical experience, with expertise in the Operating Room, Central Supply, Infection Prevention/Control, or Endoscopy Department.
- Professional Certifications: Required professional certifications, such as CSSD, CNOR, CRCST, CIC, or CGRN.
- Understanding of Surgical Instrumentation: Understanding of surgical instrumentation and principles of reprocessing (cleaning, disinfection, sterilization) preferred.
- People Management Experience: Experience with people management and leadership.
- Track Record: A track record of experience in clinical practice, including perioperative practice, infection prevention/control, reprocessing departments, pharmacy, medical, or nursing.
- Graduate of an Accredited Degree Program: A graduate of an accredited degree nursing program or professional certification is strongly preferred.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a record of previous publications/presentations preferred.
- English Language Proficiency: English language proficiency, with reading and comprehension skills.
- Travel Requirements: Availability to travel a minimum of 50% of the time in the national territory and up to 5% of the time internationally.
- Field-Based Position: This is a field-based position, and the professional can live outside of São Paulo State, in Brazil.
