Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Consultant to join our Internal Audit and SOX team in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

  • As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for working on projects encompassing the entire gamut of Sox – from conceptualization to designing to implementation of the entire SOX program including documentation and control testing.

Key responsibilities include interacting with process owners to drive effective communication, playing a key role in assignments such as developing project plans and leading staff members. You will also be expected to handle SOX and audit engagements with expertise, design and assess processes and controls to drive improvements, and address queries on SOX and audit issues with confidence.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SOX and Internal Audit, with experience in service delivery, team handling, and supervision of team members. Strong analytical and communication skills in both Portuguese and English are essential.

  • SOX and Internal Audit Professional certification
  • ACCA or CIA qualification
  • Graduate degree with relevant experience
  • Experience in internal and/or external audit, process re-engineering, process reviews, Sarbanes-Oxley implementation, Finance function or risk management function at a Top Corporate
  • Strong PC skills, including Word, Excel, Visio

  • Address complex audit and SOX issues, providing confident and authoritative advice to stakeholders
