Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused Financial Operations Assistant to support our team with various financial tasks. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes.

Responsibilities:
- Process and reconcile AP invoices in our general ledger system.
- Collaborate with our Accounting Manager/Controller to complete monthly close tasks as needed.
- Review and enter journal entries into the general ledger system.
- Prepare and publish regular financial reports for management review.
- Train new staff on financial procedures as needed.

Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Minimum 1-year experience as a financial assistant or 3 years' experience in accounting, preferably with a US-based company.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Experience using QuickBooks Online and other ERP systems.
- Familiarity with hourly timekeeping systems like Clockify.
