Leading Fragrance Technology

Candidates will oversee a highly skilled team of scientists and fragrance experts, responsible for providing technical, analytical, and sensory support to commercial and development communities in Latin America.

  • Represent the science & technology function in Latin America as the first point of contact on related topics.
  • Work with regional leadership teams to identify, prioritize, and execute initiatives that drive growth and innovation.
  • Lead the regional technology team in Sao Paulo, Mexico City, and Bogota to support commercial and development organizations in growing the Latin American business.
  • Provide expert knowledge and advice to internal and external customers on Givaudan's technology portfolio, facilitating the promotion and implementation of technologies with customers.
  • Ensure appropriate support for perfume analysis and sensory analysis activities across the region.
  • Align with global analytical and sensory best practices.
  • Research and propose original ways to combine existing technologies to deliver innovative fragrance solutions.
  • Collect and consolidate technical competitive intelligence in the region.

Key qualifications include a university degree in a relevant scientific discipline, at least 10 years of experience in R&D/science & technology functions in the fragrance industry, fluency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, excellent organizational, managerial, and communication skills, and a strong customer focus.
