Key Roles of a Senior Controlling Manager

Another critical aspect of this role is leading corporate reporting matters, including financial statements and audit preparation. This requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Additionally, the Senior Controlling Manager drives the agenda and activities of Controls and Compliance Steering Committees. This involves working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance overall operational efficiency.

Finally, the Senior Controlling Manager oversees monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes to ensure accounting and reporting integrity. This requires strong process management skills and the ability to analyze data to identify trends and anomalies.

Requirements for Success
  • A strong finance background, preferably with expertise in multinational companies and experience in Chartered Accountancy or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 15 years of post-qualification experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success in driving business growth and improving operational efficiency.
