About the Job

This position is responsible for managing regional accounting operations, ensuring timely financial reporting and compliance with local and international standards. The successful candidate will be a skilled accountant with experience in regional or multi-entity environments, able to work effectively in a multicultural setting and provide technical guidance to regional teams.



Key Responsibilities
  • Regional Accounting & Financial Management: Monitor and manage the accounting operations of six sub-regional offices, record transactions in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (BC), prepare and validate financial statements, and manage cash and financial flows for the region.
  • Tax Compliance & Regulatory Oversight: Prepare and review tax returns, ensure accuracy and timely submission, and liaise with auditors as the main point of contact.
  • Regional Accounting Expertise & Internal Controls: Act as the main accounting reference for the six sub-regional offices, provide technical guidance to regional teams to ensure best practices, and recommend improvements to accounting processes.
  • Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Provide financial analyses to support regional decision-making and collaborate with the global office on financial reporting and regional alignment.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Accounting, Master's degree an advantage.
  • At least 5 years of experience in accounting management, ideally in a regional or multi-entity environment.
  • Excellent command of Excel, experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (BC) an advantage.
  • Ability to work in Portuguese, Spanish and English.


Benefits

The salary will be compatible with the responsibilities described. The working week is 40 hours. Employment will be on a CLT basis under local Brazilian law.
