Job Title:

We are seeking a seasoned data expert to join our team as an Analytics Specialist.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering data-driven solutions that help identify opportunities for improvement within facility management programs.

This role will involve working closely with customers, cross-functional teams, and other stakeholders to assess needs and collaborate on solution delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analytics Consultation: Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, translating their business objectives into actionable analysis strategies within the scope of ServiceChannel's platform products.
  • Customer Partnership: Partner with Customer Success Managers to promote ongoing use of analytics for facilities program improvement and to support data governance enforcement.
  • Investigative Analysis: Conduct investigative analysis projects (benchmarking, data mining, etc) to identify areas of concern and/or importance to customers.
  • Reporting and Dashboards: Develop ad hoc reports and BI Dashboards as requested by customers.
  • Project Management: Manage customer analytic requests which include facilitating customer discussions regarding business requirements, documenting customer requirements and deliverables, setting customer expectations related to delivery or completion of requests, securing appropriate signoffs for Scopes of Work (as required), conducting regular project status meetings and sending status updates, presenting analysis findings and recommendations to customers, and acting as liaison between the customer and ServiceChannel's data science and analytics team to explain and break down requirements.
Requirements:
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Strong experience in performing ad hoc analysis in Excel is essential.
  • BI Report Development: Background in BI report and dashboard development, preferably using Looker or Power BI.
  • Project Management: Capable of independently scoping, managing, and delivering multiple analytics projects simultaneously.
  • Data Troubleshooting: Ability to troubleshoot data discrepancies between applications and BI systems.
  • Communication Skills: Good data storytelling skills and the ability to translate complex concepts into a digestible delivery.
  • SQL Development: SQL development experience is highly desirable.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in analysis at a SaaS/Software company, within Facilities Management, and/or in a customer-facing role is highly valued.
