About the Position- We are seeking an expert in designing and implementing Ubuntu integration for the latest IoT and server-class hardware platforms and software stacks.
- The ideal candidate will work closely with partners to deliver a top-notch, optimised Ubuntu experience on their platforms.
- This includes taking a holistic approach to the Ubuntu experience on partner platforms, providing inputs on technical plans, testing strategy, quality metrics, and participating as a technical lead on complex customer engagements involving complete system architectures from cloud to edge.
- The successful candidate will help our clients integrate their apps, SDKs, build device OS images, and optimise applications with Ubuntu Core, Desktop, and Server.
- You have a passion for technology and enjoy working with talented individuals.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, STEM, or a similar field is required.
- Experience with Linux packaging (Debian, RPM, Yocto) is essential.
- Familiarity with open source communities and licenses is also necessary.
- Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages is required.
- The ability to work effectively in a globally distributed team through self-discipline and motivation is crucial.
