Service Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Service Engineer to support our customers in the injection molding machine industry.

 

  • Participate in various training sessions to improve technical ability and comprehensive service skills.
  • Develop and implement plans for subsidiary stock spare parts.
  • Identify and document machine quality problems, proposing solutions for improvement.
  • Assist colleagues with on-site inventory of spare parts warehouses.
  • Maintain adherence to company and customer safety policies.
  • Install, repair, and maintain injection molding machinery and related software systems.
  • Perform regular safety checks on equipment.
  • Implement all company procedures.
  • Provide hands-on training and equipment demonstrations to customers.
  • Troubleshoot machine failures, performing root cause analysis and corrective actions. Document findings and recommendations.
  • Procure replacement parts as needed, documenting potential future replacements.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone or email in a professional manner.
  • Offer maintenance and operation advice or on-site services to customers.
  • Prepare written reports on all service calls, detailing key contacts and workload.
  • Provide technical training and after-sales support to customers, including equipment safety, operation, maintenance, and plastic raw materials training.
  • Translate service files into local languages as required.

 

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing technical support and maintenance services to customers.
  • Collaborating with the technical service department to develop and implement training programs.
  • Analyzing and resolving machine quality issues.
  • Managing on-site inventory of spare parts warehouses.
  • Maintaining company and customer safety policies.
  • Installing, repairing, and maintaining injection molding machinery and related software systems.
  • Performing regular safety checks on equipment.
  • Implementing company procedures.
  • Providing hands-on training and equipment demonstrations to customers.
