Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Fraud Investigator to uncover and prevent fraudulent activities. This vital role involves:

  • Investigating merchant deposit activity escalated by other fraud professionals for unusual patterns.
  • Monitoring and accounting for funds diverted from suspicious deposits.
  • Engaging with clients to gather detailed information required for comprehensive investigations.
  • Developing and recommending new fraud prevention strategies to ensure proactive detection.

The successful candidate will be responsible for training new merchants and banks in fraud prevention techniques, generating and reviewing monthly reports, and conducting annual merchant assessments. Additionally, they will compile reports for law enforcement, legal counsel, and internal investigations.

To succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field, with at least two years of experience in customer service, fraud monitoring/support, or investigation and financial services. You will possess excellent communication skills, working knowledge of MS Office, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining confidentiality.
