Cloud Engineering Lead Position

We are seeking an exceptional leader to manage our engineering team, overseeing the development and operations of modern distributed systems on private infrastructure. This role involves leading a high-performing team, implementing disciplined processes, and collaborating with customers, product engineering, and operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and experience in managing distributed teams. They should be able to represent the team effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet service level agreements. Additionally, they should have a proven track record of delivering quality managed services in a consistent and timely manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a technology field or equivalent
  • Proven experience in software delivery using Python, Go, C, C++, Java, or similar programming languages
  • Experience with OpenStack, Linux system administration, and Ubuntu/Debian
  • Strong commitment to testing methodologies and maintainable code quality
  • Excellent communication and cooperation skills
  • Experience working in and managing distributed teams
  • Technical aptitude for understanding complex distributed systems
