Systems Technical Lead
Job Description:As a senior systems engineer, you play a critical role in ensuring operational efficiency and availability of complex application systems. Your key responsibility is to lead the team to achieve operational success while enhancing proficiency in incident management and DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities:- Understand complex application systems, debug business-impacting issues, and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
- Use incident management processes and tools to generate reports, identify root causes, and take corrective actions.
- Apply knowledge of different logging techniques for alerting, monitoring, and incident resolution.
- Develop and implement system upgrades, migrations, and maintenance activities with minimal downtime and disruption.
- Deliver high-quality software using DevOps tools and practices, and collaborate with development teams to improve codebase quality.
- Expertise in programming languages like Java or .Net, and good understanding of scripting languages like Python or Powershell.
- Strong experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience working with application monitoring tools like DataDog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Excellent debugging and triaging skills for effective code troubleshooting.
- Effective communication and articulation skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to influence clients on various processes including incident management, support levels, and scope of work.
