About This Role

The R&D Operations Analyst will play a key role in ensuring the high quality of R&D documentation and global ingredient standards, accelerating digital transformation, and harmonizing R&D business processes throughout the region.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the integrity and high quality of ingredients, products, and processes documentation, partnering with Product Developers and TDC, to drive Innovation, Productivity, and Business Continuity agenda.
  • Execute and comply with Global Ingredient Standards (GIS/PQP) by building strong connections with external suppliers and documenting new or existing ingredient specifications.
  • Replicate and Load specifications into SAP PLM or other systems.
  • Bring digital solutions to simplify R&D workflows.
  • Execute plans to ensure R&D Data Sustainability and CAST adoption in Brazil, SOC, and Andean regions.
  • Manage workflows in systems, mainly in SAP.
  • Support supplier qualification and approval according to the global quality protocol.
  • Work with external suppliers to ensure compliance with ingredients, product, and process specifications.
  • Write specifications for raw materials, semi-finished products, finished products, and processes.
  • Collaborate with Project Leaders to ensure project timeline compliance.
  • Lead projects of low to medium complexity to gain critical experience as a product developer.
  • Support operational training related to new technology or products.
  • Foster flexibility to coordinate industrial, pilot plant, or laboratory tests for new products, processes, and/or equipment.
  • Participate in project meetings of the functional team.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Research and Development or Process areas with an interface with R&D.
  • A Technical Degree in Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Production Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience in managing SAP (PLM and/or ERP), preferably from 1 to 2 years.
  • Knowledge in R&D, Continuous Process Improvement, Data Analytics, or related areas.
  • Desirable technical knowledge on Snacks, Cookies & Crackers, Dairy, and/or Grains platforms.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish, with a minimum intermediate level.
  • Intellectual and technical curiosity.
  • Knowledge of local food legislation and regulations.
  • Understanding of Food Safety, HACCP, Allergens, and related concepts.
