We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Manager to oversee the entire Over-the-Road (OTR) shipment process.

This individual will be responsible for managing full truckload shipments, from booking loads and negotiating carrier rates to ensuring on-time delivery.

The Logistics Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing updates, resolving service issues, and maintaining strong relationships with carriers to ensure cost-effective transportation solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the full OTR shipment process from load booking to final delivery.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for assigned customers.
  • Sourcing and securing capacity with carriers.
  • Preparing and sending accurate rate quotes to customers.
  • Tracking and tracing shipments daily.
  • Updating transportation management systems with shipment details and status updates.
  • Collaborating with sales, operations, and billing teams.
  • Monitoring carrier performance.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in OTR logistics or freight brokerage.
  • Knowledge of expedited shipments and equipment types.
  • Proficiency with load boards such as Sylectus and DAT.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with carriers and customers.
