Technical Instructor

We are seeking a skilled Technical Instructor to join our team in Macae.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work with our organization and contribute to the success of our training programs. As a Technical Instructor, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and delivering training sessions to clients and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and direct classroom training, electronic learning, multimedia programs, and other computer-aided instructional technologies
  • Produce training schedules and classroom agendas
  • Determine and develop course content and training material according to objectives
  • Determine overall effectiveness of instructional courses and make improvements as needed
  • Engage with colleagues around the world to align/coordinate work activities across time zones
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High School GED or equivalent
  • Preferred Siemens Software knowledge
  • PLC experience
  • 3-5 years' experience in applicable field or similar role
  • Experience drafting documents, organizing content, proofreading, and editing copy, including procedures and SME-provided materials
Desirable Skills

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Knowledge of various training and teaching methods
  • Outstanding communication skills and comfortable speaking to crowds
  • Excellent decision-making and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team

Additional Requirements:

  • Willing and able to complete required safety and survival courses for entry onto rigs
  • Willings to travel globally and work in industrial environments as needed
