We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in data transformation, Looker semantic layer development, and key business metrics definition.
This role requires a deep understanding of data analysis, AI, and machine learning tools. The successful candidate will work closely with senior business leaders to understand their goals, translate questions into analytical problems, and communicate findings effectively.
- Owning and evolving the data transformation layer, including building and maintaining robust, scalable models in Looker, DBT, or equivalent SQL-based frameworks.
- Designing and developing the Looker semantic layer (LookML), including views, explores, dashboards, and governed metrics that power self-service analytics across the organization.
- Defining, documenting, and maintaining key business metrics in collaboration with stakeholders to ensure consistency and clarity in reporting and decision-making.
- Building and delivering insightful, high-impact analyses that identify trends, uncover opportunities, and inform strategic initiatives.
- Leveraging AI and machine learning tools to accelerate analysis, automate workflows, and generate deeper insights from large and complex datasets.
- Partnering closely with senior business leaders to understand their goals, translate questions into analytical problems, and communicate findings effectively.
- Promoting self-service analytics by developing intuitive Looker experiences and training end users to explore and interpret data independently.
- Ensuring data quality and consistency by implementing testing, monitoring, and validation processes throughout the analytics stack.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with data engineering, product, operations, and finance teams to align data efforts and deliver integrated solutions.
