The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical/electrical equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor equipment to ensure operation meets OEM standards and production requirements.
- Analyze complex problems; perform repairs through adjustments, part replacement or fabrication.
- Respond promptly to maintenance calls and assist in troubleshooting.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance, repairs, rebuilds and modifications on assigned equipment.
- Install, set up and calibrate electronic components.
- Weld various metals and machine plastics, composites and other materials.
- Complete size changeovers, make adjustments and troubleshoot filling and packaging equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical motors and VFDs.
- Complete work orders and associated paperwork accurately.
- Provide coverage or assistance throughout the facility as needed to support production and equipment needs.
- Ensure all work adheres to quality, safety, compliance and continuous improvement standards.
- Maintain a high level of safety awareness and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions to management.

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent analytical skills, problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Additionally, strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
