About the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO)The WWSO is an integral part of AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS), dedicated to driving revenue, adoption, and growth across a spectrum of customers, from small and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level clients, including those in the public sector.
Our approach is customer-centric, focusing on solving complex and critical business challenges by crafting and executing go-to-market strategies that transform AWS concepts into multi-billion-dollar enterprises.
Your RoleAs a member of the WWSO Startup team, you will serve as a Technical Business Developer, assisting startups in leveraging AWS technologies, particularly Amazon Bedrock.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Engaging with CxO/VP level executives, as well as developers and technical architects, to facilitate adoption, build pipelines, secure key customers, drive revenue growth, and explore strategic alliances.
- Establishing yourself as a trusted business advisor within customer accounts through Technical Thought Leadership.
- Creating and implementing programs that utilize AWS Field teams, along with technology and consulting partner channels.
- Collaborating with AWS Product and Technical teams to develop solutions that address customer needs, including reference architectures, patterns, automation, and release plans.
- Partnering with Marketing to design and align digital marketing initiatives that enhance awareness and demand.
- Owning the go-to-market strategy and execution for Amazon Bedrock in the Startup sector, working closely with Sales, Partners, Marketing, and other specialists.

Basic Qualifications- 5+ years of experience in developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience in formulating strategies that influence organizational leadership decisions.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in GTM, Sales, or Consulting.
- 5+ years of technology domain experience in LLM, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Generative AI fields.
- Experience in startups and roles at VC or PE-backed firms in Product, Business Development, or Sales Executive capacities.
- Proven track record of building relationships with startup executives and closing strategic deals.
- Familiarity with open-source software utilized by startups and knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
- Strong data-driven storytelling abilities and comfort in engaging with startup executives and developers.
- Recognized industry expertise in relevant disciplines with demonstrated public speaking skills.
- Cloud expertise evidenced by one or more cloud certifications.
- Advanced degree preferred, especially an MBA or MS in Computer Science or Engineering.
