About the Role

As a seasoned Database Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) Startup team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). Your primary focus will be on guiding startups in scaling their businesses quickly and cost-effectively on AWS. This exciting opportunity demands a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and exceptional communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for AWS Database solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive top-line revenue and secure strategic partnerships.
  • Provide technical thought leadership to customers, fostering trusted advisor relationships and driving adoption of AWS Database solutions.
  • Work closely with AWS Product and Technical teams to create innovative solutions that address customer pain points, including reference architectures, patterns, automation, and release plans.
  • Own the GTM strategy and execution for AWS Database in startup ecosystems, leveraging AWS Field teams, Sales, Partners, Marketing, and other Specialists to drive growth.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 7+ years of relevant GTM, Sales, or Consulting experience.
