Computer Network Architect Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Computer Network Architect to serve as a technical expert and lead engineer for all NAVCENT/C5F/MOC/CMF systems. This includes SIPRNET, NIPRNET, SCI LANs, CENTRIXS, BICES, JWICS, DCGS-N, FMV, GCCS-J Family of Systems (FoS), and GCCS-M.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the technical expert and lead engineer for all NAVCENT/C5F/MOC/CMF systems, ensuring seamless integration and operation.
  • Support Microsoft, Cisco, VMWare, Solaris, and network security technologies and architecture, providing expertise in system design and implementation.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of NAVCENT core technologies, including SIPRNET and NIPRNET.
  • Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies to ensure the protection of sensitive information and critical systems.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Certification: IAT-III certification required, with additional certifications such as CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, or GCIH highly desirable.
  • Experience: At least 7 years' experience working with Navy or DoD Networks, including SIPRNET and NIPRNET.
  • Clearance: TS/SCI clearance required.
