Job Title: Senior Accounting Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepares comprehensive financial reports, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements, to analyze trends and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provides expert financial analysis and advice to senior management, highlighting key findings and recommendations for resource optimization and cost reduction.
  • Assists in the preparation of year-end audit schedules and consolidates ledger revaluations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Conducts thorough research and explains variances from budgeted financial reports.
  • Develops and documents accounting policies and procedures to ensure consistency and best practices.
Accounting Experience:
  • Responsible for distributing monthly operating reports and analyzing results to inform business decisions.
  • Ensures accurate headcount data is loaded into Hyperion for Bureau and Group.
  • Prepares account reconciliations, journals, and inter-company debit memos for payroll entries.
  • Liaises with country accounts personnel to ensure timely reporting of financial information.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or recognized equivalent in accounting.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Thorough knowledge of current business and accounting software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
