Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Sales professional to join our team at FLSmidth, Inc. as a key member of our sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing relationships with potential customers in the mining industry, presenting and demonstrating the technical features and benefits of our products, and providing post-sales technical support.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Customer Relationship Management: Identify and develop relationships with potential customers in the mining industry to increase sales and revenue.
  2. Product Presentation: Present and demonstrate the technical features and benefits of our pumps, valves, and cyclones to existing and potential customers.
  3. Technical Evaluations: Perform technical evaluations of existing equipment at mining facilities and recommend improvements or upgrades as needed.
  4. Proposal Development: Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals, including product specifications, pricing, and delivery schedules.
  5. Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate contract terms with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and business profitability.
  6. Post-Sales Support: Provide post-sales technical support, including training, customer service, and problem resolution.
  7. Project Management: Coordinate with internal and external teams to manage equipment sales and installation projects at mining facilities.
  8. Market Research: Stay abreast of market trends, competition, and technological innovations in mining pumps, valves, and cyclones.
Requirements
  1. Education: Mechanical, mining, electrical, or production technician or engineer degree.
  2. Experience: At least 5 years' experience in maintenance and maintenance planning for mining equipment, with sales or business management experience.
  3. Language Skills: Advanced Portuguese and intermediate English.
  4. Soft Skills: Effective communication skills, ability to work in a team, customer focus, and ability to identify sales opportunities.
  5. Personal Qualities: Commitment to safety and compliance with standards and policies.
