Researcher in Knowledge Representation

We are seeking a skilled researcher to join our team and contribute to the development of conceptual descriptions of offshore production chains using knowledge representation techniques.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with expertise in computing, applied mathematics, physics, statistics, or electrical/electronic/industrial engineering to work on a challenging project.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing mathematical tools for quantitative assessment of greenhouse gas emissions along production chains, conducting case studies, and supporting the implementation of developed systems.

In this role, you will work closely with our team to advance our understanding of environmental parameters and their impact on production chains.

To be eligible for this position, you must have a PhD in a relevant field obtained less than seven years ago and experience in knowledge representation, such as ontologies or metadata, and Python programming.

You should also be proficient in academic and professional writing and able to communicate complex ideas effectively.

Job Requirements
  • PhD in Computing, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Electrical/Electronic/Industrial Engineering (obtained less than seven years ago)
  • Experience in knowledge representation, such as Ontologies or Metadata, and Python programming
  • Academic and professional writing skills
  • Effective communication skills
