Cloud Support Leadership Opportunity

The Cloud Support Group and Devices Support Group at Canonical are seeking experienced leaders to manage professional support teams.

Responsibilities include operational control, shift scheduling, and accountability for key performance indicators (KPIs). Team leaders will also ensure timely responses to customer inquiries within service level agreements (SLAs) and maintain high standards of professionalism.

  • Develop and implement team processes and strategies to improve support delivery and efficiency.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of knowledge base articles and resources.
  • Collaborate with leadership on growth initiatives and transformation projects.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in Linux command-line interface (CLI) at a technical level.
  • Proven track record in leadership and team management, preferably in a technical support environment.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and provide excellent customer service.
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in another language is an asset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with Canonical products and services.
  • Knowledge of Linux Desktop, OpenStack, Public Cloud, or Virtualization technologies.
  • Contributions to open-source projects are valued.
