Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned manufacturing executive to oversee all aspects of third-party contract manufacturing.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the manufacturing industry, leadership experience, and proficiency in financial skills and cost-driven thinking.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Ensure compliance with business and service level agreements through effective contract management.
  2. Maintain vigilance over manufacturing outcomes and implement corrective actions as needed.
  3. Monitor and manage FG costs to stay within committed forecasts.
  4. Challenge teams on raw material cost variations to optimize production efficiency.
  5. Oversee shelf life management from raw material to product launch.
  6. Manage losses for bulk and filling lines to minimize waste.
  7. Negotiate P&L discussions with Contract Manufacturers to drive mutual understanding.
  8. Develop quotes for extra or additional manufacturing activities.
  9. Manage transportation-related costs, collections, and pallet returns.
  10. Promote cost savings initiatives and updates.
  11. Ensure timely New Launch timelines and ToTs.
  12. Provide quarterly Rolling Forecast updates.

Financial Accounting

  1. Analyze financial data and identify value-adding opportunities.
  2. Deliver monthly and quarterly cost reports to senior management and account teams.
  3. Monitor expenditures in manufacturing processes to ensure transparency.
  4. Conduct cost studies and simulations focusing on gross margin and EBITDA contribution.
  5. Assess obsolescence and provide inventory insights.

Offer continuous financial updates on the monthly P&L for the account and finance teams.

Supply Chain Management

  1. Collaborate with procurement teams to obtain accurate LT, MOQ, Cost, inland cost, air cost, storage, and freight cost information.
  2. Work closely with quality teams to support manufacturing service levels and high standards of quality and productivity.
  3. Partner with process engineering teams to transition products into local manufacture.
  4. Coordinate with internal planning teams to update information related to Forecast and extras demand.
  5. Support Lean programs and stimulate continuous improvements.
  6. Communicate with Regional LATAM teams to track new projects and launches.

Reporting and Analysis

  1. Guarantee CMs fulfill needs on time and quantity.
  2. Evaluate production capabilities and balance operational performance effectively.
  3. Follow execution activities with Contract Manufacturing teams.
  4. Support manufacturing teams on subjects related to cost and project charts.

Provide updated financial reports, scorecards, and KPIs on a monthly basis.

Education and Experience

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is required.
  • Fluent English proficiency is necessary.
  • At least 7 years of experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.
  • Leadership experience is highly valued.
  • Manufacturing experience focused on consumer products or contract manufacturing is desirable.
