This role requires a self-starter who wants to grow with our team. As a Senior Data Architect, you will work closely with fellow members to understand client data and analytic needs, using architectures and solutions that enable business decision-making capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design technical solutions leveraging Azure-based toolsets, considering functionality and performance.
  • Direct technology processes, manage client relationships, and build trust and credibility as a team lead.
  • Implement end-to-end data platform solutions for clients.
  • Manage client expectations regarding scope, cost, and timeline.
  • Author high-quality project documentation and other project artifacts.
  • Provide technical mentorship to junior teammates.
  • Deliver complex projects on-time and within budget, identifying and mitigating gaps and risks.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in data engineering, including 4+ years of architecting data solutions on Azure.
  • Ability to apply technical knowledge and insights to create data modernization roadmaps and architect solutions.
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure services such as Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Fabric, Synapse, and OpenAI.
  • Proven ability to design and implement modern data architectures (data lakes, warehouses, lake houses, data mesh, streaming pipelines).
  • Proficiency in Python, PySpark, SQL, and data engineering frameworks.
  • Knowledge of APIs, data integration patterns, security, compliance, and data governance frameworks.
  • Experience optimizing data pipelines, queries, and architectures for performance and cost.
