Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to support research and animal care operations in a temporary assignment.

The successful candidate will work under close supervision and in accordance with established policies and procedures, maintaining the animal colony and laboratory facilities in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the maintenance of animal care equipment and supplies.
  • Performing physical duties such as lifting and moving equipment.
  • Working collaboratively with the research team to ensure the health and well-being of animals.

This is an entry-level position that offers opportunities for growth and development.

Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Must be able to follow detailed instructions and maintain a high standard of cleanliness and care.
  • Strong interest in animal care and research support.
  • Ability to lift/move equipment and perform physically active duties throughout the day.
  • Willingness to learn and pursue AALAS certification.
