Our organization is seeking a skilled professional to provide personal welfare support services to Eastern European survivors of domestic abuse and other forms of violence and abuse.
Key Responsibilities- Provide capacity-building in the form of advice, advocacy, support, and briefings across London boroughs to statutory agencies and community organizations around the needs of Eastern European domestic abuse survivors.
- Empower Eastern European survivors by providing them with emotional and practical support, including support to access safe accommodation.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective joint working protocols and referral pathways.
The successful candidate will have experience of working with survivors of domestic abuse, particularly those from Eastern European backgrounds. They will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively under pressure.
RequirementsA degree in social work or a related field would be advantageous but not essential. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
