Position Overview

The role of the Senior Media Relations Specialist is pivotal in advancing the objectives of Publicity For Good by empowering our clients to emerge as leaders within their respective industries. Our mission is to establish industry prominence for our clients through consistent media coverage and enhanced market visibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client-Centric Focus: Uphold a client-first approach to ensure alignment with long-term strategic goals.
  • Strategic Planning: Formulate and execute comprehensive media strategies tailored to each client.
  • Campaign Management: Oversee media campaigns and maintain an organized campaign tracker.
  • Content Creation: Draft and distribute press releases, media alerts, pitches, and follow-up communications.
  • Media Engagement: Secure and coordinate interviews, identify opportunities, and maintain proactive communication with media outlets.
  • Tracker Updates: Regularly update the media opportunity tracker for assigned clients.
  • Team Leadership: Guide the publicity team in prioritizing efforts and achieving campaign objectives.
  • Industry Analysis: Monitor news and public relations trends, as well as conduct competitor analysis.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and sustain productive relationships with clients, journalists, bloggers, and influencers.
  • Client Communication: Maintain daily communication with clients through various platforms.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in public relations.
