Cloud-Based Emergency Services Requirements Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Requirements Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cloud-based digital emergency services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements for digital emergency services features in cloud backend, embedded systems, CPaaS, security, and operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product owners to understand needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements.
  • Translate regulatory and business requirements into detailed product features and specifications.
  • Create comprehensive requirement documents, including functional specifications, use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Support the development process, defining feature scope, tracking progress, and ensuring alignment with goals.
  • Maintain and update technical documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Develop test plans and test cases to validate solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in requirements engineering or a related role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with large, complex systems; preference for emergency systems, embedded systems, IoT, or similar solutions.
  • Coding skills and experience with IoT and cloud applications are a plus.
  • Proficiency with requirement management tools.
  • Knowledge of agile software development methodologies.
