As the IT Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our transition to a standalone IT organization. Collaborating closely with our global IT community, you will lead all activities and projects to enable our target operating model. Your leadership will be instrumental in bringing people together to drive solutions and answers.

Essential FunctionsStand-alone IT Program Management
  • Identify and manage IT transition activities/projects globally at all stages throughout the transition lifecycle executed by the LSG Group.
  • Establish transition program governance to control internal and external cross-project dependencies, overall program milestones, and RAID.
  • Manage baselines and process changes to program/project scope and timeline.
  • Establish appropriate communication to all stakeholders of the transition (including Business, Board, IT, and external providers).
  • Oversee and manage costs for all projects related to transition.
  • Identify staffing needs for project roles as well as coordination and controlling of external support.
  • Ensure complete transition of services to LSG IT operation, including processes, assets, support processes, and documentation, and potentially staff/provider.
IT Strategy and Portfolio Management (jointly with IT Director)
  • Create, shape, and position the IT Target Operating Model (IT TOM) of LSG during the transition into a standalone IT organization.
  • Establish and shape IT support organization to be able to operate all future IT services.
  • Set up a strategic IT portfolio and demand management to ensure focus on the value creation plans and alignment with business requirements towards IT.
  • Identify value creation and IT optimization potential and support global initiatives on the growth mission.
  • Complement the IT leadership team and advise on IT-related discussions and decisions.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in running complex, full-lifecycle IT projects in complex and challenging operating environments (IT carve-out management experience is preferred).
  • Knowledge or hands-on experience with business process mapping in the aviation or catering industry.
  • Good understanding and experience in business process mapping, IT architecture, IT solution design, and infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in change management and persistence in implementing measures.
  • Strong leadership, managerial skills, and the ability to create an inspiring work environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both for detailed work and presenting to top management.
  • Outstanding people skills and ability to build respectful relationships with all levels of staff.
  • Experience to lead and engage with project owners, project managers, third parties' business, and system architects.
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritize and communicate commitment.
  • Ability to handle changing priorities, deal with ambiguity, and use good judgment in stressful situations; ability to take on-time decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Fluency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
  • Hybrid position with a blend of work from home and in-office.
