Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Solutions Specialist to join our Latin America team. As a key member of our presales organization, you will be responsible for designing and delivering comprehensive solutions that meet the complex needs of public safety agencies across multiple countries in the region.

Your mission will be to architect mission-critical technology that enhances emergency response and public safety. You will lead the technical process, leveraging your deep industry knowledge to develop innovative solutions that solve real-world challenges and ultimately save lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Deliver Solutions: Act as the primary technical architect for public safety clients, designing and implementing comprehensive solutions by integrating our applications with their existing infrastructure and business processes.

  • Consultative Approach: Employ a consultative approach to understand customer challenges deeply. You will lead technical presentations, demonstrations, and workshops to show how our solutions can meet their strategic objectives.

  • Technical Validation: Analyze customer environments, including their IT infrastructure, IP networks, and software systems, to ensure the viability and success of the proposed solution.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the technical hub, coordinating with internal sales teams, product managers, engineers, and external partners to build a cohesive and supportable solution.

  • Transition Planning: Leverage your expertise to develop and articulate clear transition and implementation plans, giving customers confidence in their journey to bring new solutions into service.

  • Subject Matter Expertise: Maintain and grow your expertise in public safety technologies and control room operations, acting as a trusted advisor to both customers and internal teams.

Requirements

  • Location: Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Santiago, Chile or São Paulo, Brazil.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Language: Fluency in spoken and written Portuguese is highly desirable.

  • Post-Sales Experience: Direct experience with post-sales systems integration, transition planning, and project execution.

  • Regional Experience: Experience working with public safety agencies across multiple countries in Latin America.

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales role (e.g., Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Technical Consultant) supplying complex solutions to public safety agencies.

  • Domain Expertise: Proven expertise in at least three (3) of the following public safety domains:

    • Emergency Call Handling & Next-Generation Telephony (e.g., NG9-1-1, i3)

    • Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) systems

    • Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Location-Based Services

    • Control Room/Command Center operations and business processes

  • Technical Skills:

  • Strong working knowledge of modern IT infrastructure, virtualization, and IP networking.

  • Solid understanding of software integration patterns and technologies (e.g., REST APIs, Web Services, Enterprise Service Buses (ESB)).

Language Proficiency: Full professional fluency in both spoken and written Spanish and English.

Communication Skills: Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and listening skills, with a proven ability to document and explain complex technical concepts to a diverse audience.
