Job Title: Sales Account Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Account Manager to join our team at Rakuten Travel Xchange. As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with existing partners, as well as identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to distribute our accommodation inventory in South America.

Key Responsibilities:
  • New Business Development: Identify and target prospective clients with a strong presence in the market. Conduct thorough market research to understand client needs and industry trends.
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Account Management: Develop and implement upselling strategies to increase booking volume within existing accounts.
  • Internal Stakeholder Management: Work closely with internal teams to solve issues, identify opportunities for synergy and enhanced efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Extensive Industry Network: You should have a vast network and established relationships within the hotel distribution industry.
  • Strong Sales and Account Management Skills: Strong track record of acquiring new clients and increasing revenue within existing accounts.
  • Solution-Oriented and Collaborative: Demonstrate ability to find innovative solutions and build strong, collaborative relationships with partners.
  • Team player and Self-Motivated: Exhibit a high degree of organization and self-motivation to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Process and Outcome-Drive: Approach your work with a focus on processes and outcomes, ensuring that objectives are met efficiently.
  • Adaptability: You can be flexible and adapt to changing priorities and requirements as our industry is constantly evolving.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Display strong communication skills with a genuine desire to provide assistance and support to both clients and internal teams.
  • Knowledge of our industry: Experience in B2B sales, with background in Travel wholesale or OTA or Travel Tech is desired.
