About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Specialist to join our team at LHR Américas. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in supporting the screening, planning, analyzing, developing, and executing mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, and divestments at our client company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence on target companies, evaluating their financials, operations, and market position.
  • Financial Analysis: Perform financial valuations of target companies using various methods and evaluate their business plans.
  • Transaction Execution: Independently handle business proposals, draft non-binding offers, develop negotiation strategies, and commercial terms for transactions.
  • Negotiation and Agreement: Negotiate and develop definitive agreements, ensuring compliance with process stage gates and approvals.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage all aspects of transaction execution, including working with internal organizations, consultants, and potential partners.
  • Project Management: Assemble initial offerings to potential investors and coordinate with internal subject matter experts to draft memorandums of understanding and letters of intent.
  • Administrative Direction: Provide administrative direction in the development and review of legal documents.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Business, or Finance from a recognized and approved international program.
  • Experience: 10-15 years of experience in business development, including at least 5 years of experience in M&A transaction execution.
  • Industry Expertise: Strong M&A background, extensive experience in financial valuation and modeling, due diligence, commercial negotiations, and transaction structuring.
  • Certifications: Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is advantageous.
Benefits
  • Monthly Base Salary: Aligned with company employees with similar skills.
  • Monthly Overbase: 25% of monthly base salary.
  • Benefits Supplement: 20% of monthly base salary, increasing to 25% after 3 years of service.
  • Severance Package: 2-year vest period.
  • Employment Tax: If employee chooses to separate themselves from their 'home country' for income tax purposes.
  • Employee Share Purchase Plan (ESPP): Maximum purchase equal to 10% monthly base pay.
  • Incentive Plan: Annual, based on performance.
  • Travel Allowance: Annual, approximately $8,200 per household member over 11 years old.
  • Vacation & Paid Holidays: 38 vacation days, 4 travel days, and 11-13 paid holidays.
  • Medical/Dental Plan: Complimentary in-Kingdom medical care and facilities.
  • Educational Assistance Plan (EAP): Out-of-Kingdom assistance.
  • Settling in Allowance: One-time payment, family status - 100% of monthly base salary.
Hiring Process

Our hiring process consists of the following stages:

  • Resume Evaluation: A member of our recruitment team will evaluate your resume to ensure it matches the client's job description requirements.
  • Interviews: You will participate in a series of interviews, including a preliminary phone/video interview, a client face-to-face interview, and additional video interviews with hiring managers.
  • Conditional Offer: A successful interview may result in a conditional offer of employment.
  • Relocation Process: After your offer is accepted and all conditions for employment are met, you will be assigned a relocation advisor from LHR Américas.
