If you possess the business acumen, a background in Generative AI within the Startup ecosystem, and the sales expertise required to position AWS as the preferred cloud provider, this role may be for you.
About the Role: This position is part of the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) Startup team, where you will act as a Technical Business Developer, facilitating the adoption of AWS technologies, particularly Amazon Bedrock, among startups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with CxO and VP-level executives, as well as developers and technical architects, to facilitate adoption, develop pipelines, secure key customers, drive revenue growth, and explore strategic partnerships.
- Establish yourself as a trusted business advisor within customer accounts through Technical Thought Leadership.
- Design and implement programs that leverage AWS Field teams, alongside technology and consulting partner channels.
- Collaborate with AWS Product and Technical teams to devise solutions that address customer challenges, including reference architectures, automation, and release planning.
- Work alongside Marketing to create and align digital marketing campaigns aimed at raising awareness and generating demand.
- Oversee the go-to-market strategy and execution for Amazon Bedrock in the Startup sector, collaborating with various teams including Sales, Partners, Marketing, and other Specialists.

Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience in formulating strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in GTM, Sales, or Consulting.
- 5+ years of technology domain experience in LLM, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Generative AI fields.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in startups or at a VC or PE-backed firm in a Product, Business Development, or Sales Executive role.
- Proven track record of building relationships with startup executives and closing strategic deals.
- Familiarity with open-source software utilized by startups and a working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
- Strong data-driven storytelling abilities with comfort in engaging with startup executives and developers.
- Recognized industry expertise in relevant disciplines with proven public speaking skills.
- Cloud expertise demonstrated through one or more cloud certifications.
- Advanced degree preferred, especially an MBA or MS in Computer Science or Engineering.
