The role of a Billing Systems Analyst involves supporting customers by setting up their billing schedules and procedures. This includes processing and analyzing data, generating invoices, and scheduling monthly activities with internal and external teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Producing and analyzing billing reports for customers
- Analyzing the results of processed files and making corrections if needed
- Utilizing billing software
- Responsible for compiling bill count reports and providing invoicing data to the finance team
- Independent interaction with customers concerning their billing
- Management of data and schedules to produce invoices for delivery per billing schedule
- Maintaining customer data in an Oracle database
- Maintaining and managing multiple ticketing systems
- Using various pieces of software for tracking and analysis of data
- Identifying problems/issues during billing cycles and solving or requesting assistance in solving
- May assist less experienced colleagues
- Latitude for independent judgment/action
- Work on moderately complex activities
- Assist in defining and maintaining documentation and procedures
The ideal candidate will have 0-3 years of work experience in telephony wholesale or retail billing, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, and a solid working knowledge of telephony definitions, industry terms, and technologies.
