Accounting Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled accounting professional to fill a key role in our organization.

  • Responsibility for managing a significant portion of the accounting records, including revenue recognition, invoicing and accounts receivable.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure project forecasts align with contracts and work completed.
  • Contribution to shared tasks such as reporting and data verification, providing support to the rest of the accounting team.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a services-based environment.
  • Expertise in revenue recognition, including Percent Completion method, is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of contract terms, accruals, deferrals, invoicing, and accounts receivable.
  • Proficiency in general ledger software and Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Highly effective communication and partnership skills in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with clients and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of IFRS 15 and/or ASC 606 Revenue Recognition standards, GAAP and/or IFRS principles, and best practices in accounting.
  • Familiarity with financial audits or reviews.
