Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned accounting professional to join our team as a Senior Accounting Analyst. This role will involve supporting the growth of our Latin America region, with a focus on Brazil.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and be able to work independently on complex issues and projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with bookkeeping service providers and corporate accounting on aspects of the monthly accounting close process
  • Review service provider support to ensure accurate importation processes, invoicing, and prepayments within 24 hours
  • Collaborate with corporate tax, accounting, and service providers on transfer pricing models, local tax filings, and general tax compliance
  • Ensure accurate and timely management of inventory in SAP, reviewing monthly inventory reconciliations
  • Provide guidance on T&E policies and ensure compliance to policies, coordinating with Shared Services
  • Support local Commercial and Customer Services teams on payment, invoicing, payroll, procurement, commissions, and policy questions
  • Support AMR Commercial Finance team on accounting issues impacting revenue projections, revenue, and OpEx forecasting
  • Collaborate with corporate Accounting team to ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements
  • Initiate and drive projects to enhance and automate internal controls over financial reporting (system enhancements, integrations, implementations)
  • Support internal and external business partners, as well as regional teams

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in SAP and other relevant accounting software
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment

This role will be based in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and will require frequent communications with Corporate Finance and Tax teams in the US, as well as LATAM Customer Care and Commercial teams.
