Virtual Assistant - Finance Team Support

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to support our finance operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, trustworthy, and able to manage a variety of administrative and financial support tasks.

The Virtual Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Financial Controller with day-to-day administrative and financial tasks, including preparing and maintaining financial documents and records, assisting with bookkeeping tasks, and tracking and categorizing company expenses.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for helping prepare invoices and following up on outstanding payments, assisting in compiling monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, and supporting payroll preparation by gathering and verifying information.

Additionally, the Virtual Assistant will communicate with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders regarding financial queries, organize and maintain digital filing systems for financial documentation, and perform other ad hoc administrative tasks to support the finance team.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant or similar role
  • Basic understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and accounting tools
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
