Supply Chain Operations Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and optimize logistics operations through the use of internal systems and tools.
  • Monitor bookings against forecasts, equipment availability, and manage inventory levels across different Zim systems.
  • Perform daily stock verification to ensure supply chain plans meet commercial demand and maintain balanced stocks.
  • Ensure timely data updates and uploads in real-time to meet operational targets.
  • Track equipment movements to/from pools and provide critical information to related departments.
  • Implement corrective actions when performance metrics are not met.
  • Generate strategic reports for cross-checking via SAP system.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of English proficiency.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel tasks with macros and detailed pivot tables.
  • Ability to plan, analyze, and execute complex tasks effectively.
